White Metal has just completed the manufacturing of a large, three-part Guide Bearing designed for hydroelectric power generation.
The component has an external diameter of over 2 meters and a height exceeding half a meter, highlighting its complexity and robustness.
During the manufacturing process, nearly 4.5 tons of steel and more than 600 kg of babbitt were used, resulting in an assembly with a total weight of 3,750 kg after machining and finishing. This supply reinforces White Metal’s excellence, with high standards of quality, dimensional accuracy, and reliability, supported by over 30 years of experience and well-established know-how in the global hydroelectric sector.
